Castle shares surge on WA graphite acquisition
Shares of ASX-listed explorer, Castle Minerals continued their upward charge on the market, trading more than 30 per cent higher in intraday trading after the company put its foot on 150 square kilometres of tenure prospective for graphite mineralisation. The new ground, near Albany in Western Australia, adds to Castle’s portfolio of battery metal exploration projects that also includes its Wilgee Springs and Woodcutters lithium projects in the state.
The new acquisition, named the ‘Kendenup graphite project’, consists of two exploration licences connected from west to east.
