iPhone users have reported touchscreen sensitivity issues connected to the latest software update from Apple.

Users worldwide have reported intermittent touchscreen problems from the latest iOS 15 update that was rolled out last week.

It is said that parts of the display screen don’t respond to touch.

It mostly appears to affect those with Apple’s new iPhone 13 series. But some with older versions of the phone could also be affected by the bug.

The only way to solve the issue is to reboot the iPhone.

Many people have taken to social media saying their devices had been affected.

“Anyone else experienced issue with new (or previous) iPhones where touch is sometimes unresponsive when trying to unlock the phone? Turning the screen off and on again gets it back to normal. I’m gonna end up returning this phone aren’t I?,” one person wrote.

“So it’s not just me. My iPhone 12 on iOS 15 has had his unresponsive touchscreen issue for a few times. Closing and relaunching apps fixes this. And no @AppleSupport, I’ve tried lots of things and it’s still there,” another said.

“So the iPhone 13 has touch issues and it can’t even be restored LOL. great one apple,” a third posted.

According to Apple, the iOS 15 update includes more a natural look on FaceTime calls.

There’s also a new section connected to messages so it shows the photos, articles, music, and other content shared between contacts.

There is also a new feature called “ Focus” to help users filtering their notifications to reduce distraction.

It also has a new design for browsing in Safari and Maps.

New privacy features have been included, like the Mail Privacy Protection which prevents senders from learning if an email has been opened, and hides IP addresses so senders can’t learn a user’s location.

Apple has been contacted to comment.
