Rebel Wilson has announced the birth of her second daughter days after heading to court for a defamation trial against her co-star.

The Australian actor announced the birth of her daughter, Rose Estelle, on Instagram on Tuesday morning.

“What a gorgeous blessing to have another little girl!” she captioned the photo of the newborn, wrapped in a blanket with a bow.

The birth announcement comes days after Wilson was cross-examined in the Federal Court in a defamation case brought about by her colleague, Charlotte MacInnes.

MacInnes, who is the lead actor in the Australian musical The Deb, sued Wilson over social media posts that suggested MacInnes walked back a sexual harassment complaint against one of the film’s producers to further her career.

Wilson maintained during the trial she was a “truth teller”.
