“We designed a flat roof with bold, clean lines and a cool white rendered finish, contrasting with charcoal aluminium joinery,” he said.

“The look is also softened with stone cladding.”

Featuring two garage doors and a side entry, the elevation juxtapositions the home’s ultra-modern design with a traditional fence and front lawn, fused together with a large balcony.

Walking down the runway-like side access, you are greeted by the minimalist entry with white, black and grey hues as you proceed through the front door.

Evident through the strategic use of zoning, the layout has a strong open-planned emphasis, particularly in the living space.

“Whilst split over three levels, the design focuses more on the living space on the ground floor, providing seamless transition between the internal and external areas,” Mr Stratfold said.

“The kitchen, living and dining space is centrally located to balance the views towards the coast at the front and the alfresco and pool at the back.”

With a generously sized, crisp white island bench and stone benchtops, traditional wood finishes and black accents, the kitchen is both sleek and elegant and flows effortlessly out to the outdoor entertainment zone.

“The alfresco area has a wood-burning fireplace with a TV above, an outdoor kitchen with a practical servery window off the scullery and a double-height roof,” Mr Stratfold said.

A 15m concrete lap pool provides an impressive landscaping feature in this zone, while an open arbour and curved top wall following the line of pool creates a distinct aesthetic.

Mr Stratfold said cavity sliding doors were installed throughout the home to create separation when needed, while maintaining an open layout when not in use.

The floor plan also gives every member of the family their own space, with a parents’ retreat to the front of the home and the minor bedrooms at the rear.

Comprising a private ensuite and a generous walk-in-robe, the master bedroom has its own balcony to enjoy the views of the amazing coastline.

The master ensuite reflects similar design cues from the kitchen in the form of its three colour and texture design, with plentiful storage options and a freestanding bath, highlighting the strong focus on coastal living.

The remaining four bedrooms are serviced by the main bathroom and a powder room, with the laundry also nearby.

The bedrooms comprise a walk-in robe and a spacious and functional layout – all with large sliding doors to the outdoor areas.

Future-proofed with the addition of a lift, this property also has an upstairs study area and balcony.

“The upper floor has a study room with stacking windows to maximise the outlook towards the coast, as well as a balcony to connect with the outdoor alfresco and pool area,” Mr Stratfold said.

With the flexibility to suit any lifestyle, Mr Stratfold said the custom build was a practical family home, where everything had been considered.
