Albany police charge Lansdale man accused of stalking and sexually inappropriate approaches to women in Albany

A Perth man accused of stalking and committing indecent acts against Albany women last week has been charged after the concerned community members alerted police to the behaviour. Albany police arrested a 44-year-old Lansdale man in relation to several incidents that occurred on Thursday, October 30 and Friday, October 31. It is alleged the man was driving a grey Ford Ranger utility in the Albany suburbs of Orana, Lange and Middleton Beach and in that time made sexually inappropriate and unsolicited approaches towards several female victims. Timely information received from the community after the alleged offender’s behaviour resulted in police arresting and charged the accused on Wednesday. The Perth man has been charged with three counts of indecent acts in public along with charges of stalking in a manner reasonably expected to intimidate and does intimidate and possession of cocaine. He is due to appear in Albany Magistrates Court on November 20. Albany police say investigations are continuing.
