With Italian giants Inter Milan coming to WA again, young players from Denmark Soccer Club have joined the Show Your Colours scheme and will be backing I Nerazzurri during a blockbuster series of matches.
The Calcio Italiano tournament, at Optus Stadium in Perth, will feature Inter, AC Milan and Juventus from Serie A, the top Italian league, plus Palermo from Serie B, the second tier.
The festivities kick off on August 5 with a Milan derby, followed by Juventus against Inter on August 8 and Juventus against Palermo on August 11.
The Show Your Colours Community Tifosi initiative invited clubs across the State to back one of the sides and be in the running for a range of activities including match-day events, open training access and junior football experiences.
Denmark were allocated Inter Milan in the tournament and the club is waiting to see what extras await as the tournament looms.
Sport and Recreation Minister Rita Saffioti said she wanted soccer teams across WA to get involved.
“This major event is bringing four of the world’s most iconic football clubs to WA and the Community Tifosi initiative gives our local clubs, players, volunteers and families the opportunity to be part of the excitement,” she said.

“We want football communities across the State to get behind the tournament, show their colours, and help create a genuine football atmosphere in the lead-up to these matches.
“This initiative is about celebrating the strength of community football in WA and creating opportunities for local clubs to connect with this major international sporting event.”
