Hosted jointly by the Advertiser and the Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry, about 30 people attended the networking event.
ACCI membership coordinator Rex Beach welcomed the attendees on behalf of chief executive Tracey Bridges, before advertising manager Harrison Bolton spoke about the Advertiser’s storied history.
Incoming Advertiser editor Cameron Newbold told the crowd about his plans to continue the newspaper’s 137-year-old mission telling the community stories of the Great Southern.
Guests enjoyed refreshments, sampled delicious pastries provided by the Hilton Garden Inn Albany and leafed through recent editions of the Advertiser, Great Southern Herald, Narrogin Observer and The Extra.
