Emergency warning lifted for WA bushfire
A bushfire emergency warning has been downgraded to watch and act for residents in parts of Melaleuca and Bullsbrook in the City of Swan in Perth's northeast.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) issued the emergency warning on Saturday afternoon, saying that lives and homes were threatened, but the warning was downgraded later on Saturday evening.
DFES said the bushfire had become stationary and was contained but not controlled, with 150 firefighters in attendance.
