A South Hedland woman accused of deliberately running down her partner while he was on a mobility scooter has pleaded not guilty to murder. Joanne Alexie Nundle, 32, allegedly murdered William John Dunstan, who was found seriously injured on Kennedy Street in the Pilbara town following a traffic collision at about 10pm on July 6. Mr Dunstan, who is understood to have used a mobility scooter because he had a leg amputated last year, was taken to hospital but died of his injuries. It is understood Ms Nundle was both his carer and de facto partner. Appearing in Stirling Gardens Magistrate’s Court today by video-link from prison, Ms Nundle pleaded not guilty to the charge. Ms Nundle was remanded in custody and will appear in the Supreme Court for the first time on December 14.
