The Lookout: Ibrahimovic bouncer brothers admit bashing father Nathan Kidd at popular Scarborough bar

Two bouncer brothers have admitted brutally bashing a father at a popular Scarborough bar after having the most serious charge against them dropped. Nezir Ibrahimovic, 32, and his brother Enver Ibrahimovic, 38, both pleaded guilty on Friday to assault occasioning bodily harm. Both had a charge of intentionally doing an act causing bodily harm discontinued. The violence unfolded at the Lookout Bar and Bites in Scarborough in April after the pair asked 39-year-old Nathan Kidd to leave. A police prosecutor previously told Perth Magistrates Court that Mr Kidd, who was on a night out with friends, had been “sliding around” on water spread across the dance floor before the security guards approached. Mr Kidd was then forced to the ground, “mounted” by one of the brothers and punched in the head at least five times while he trying to shield his head with his arms. The police prosecutor said Mr Kidd was also kicked in the head during the prolonged assault. Nezir is also charged with stealing, accused of grabbing a phone from one of Mr Kidd’s female friends as she tried to film the ordeal. He has not yet entered a plea for that charge, but pleaded guilty to two counts of common assault.. He had a charge of wilfully destroying evidence discontinued. The pair will be sentenced on January 30.
