Three teenagers were arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning after police broke up a wild party at a hotel in Perth’s CBD.

The 17-year-olds, from Perth’s northern suburbs, were at Fraser Suites on Adelaide Terrace about 1.30am when police were alerted to a group of “unapproved people” inside two of the rooms.

Police alleged a 17-year-old Girrawheen girl and 17-year-old Banksia Grove boy were acting in a disorderly manner and failed to move on when asked by officers.

When police moved to arrest the duo, they allegedly assaulted the attending officers.

Another girl, a 17-year-old from Landsdale, was also alleged to have assaulted police on two occasions and obstructed officers during the ordeal.

Video posted of the arrests online revealed the commotion outside the inner-city serviced apartments as partygoers protested against the arrests.

One boy can be seen in the video attempting to pull a girl from the grasp of two police officers as they took her towards their police wagon.

Premier Mark McGowan today condemned any inner-city anti-social behaviour, especially involving teenagers.

“Police already have a difficult job. I just urge everyone to do the right thing,” he said.

All three teens are expected to appear in the Perth Children’s Court on August 10.
