Driver in hospital after crashing into Kalgoorlie Health Campus waiting room

An outpatient waiting room at Kalgoorlie Health Campus has been left a mess after a car ploughed through the wall today.

According to a WA Country Health Service spokesperson the driver and passenger were both taken to the Kalgoorlie Health Campus Emergency Department for assessment.

Police also attended the scene.

The spokesperson said WACHS would continue to cooperate with authorities during the investigation of the incident.

“The health and wellbeing of patients, staff and the driver and passenger remain the organisation’s number one priority,” the spokesperson said.

A WA Police spokesman said the extent of injuries to both the driver and a pedestrian involved in the incident were unknown.
