A woman and a child have been taken to hospital following a dramatic crash into a bottle shop in Perth’s inner suburbs.
Just after 11AM on Saturday morning a grey Mazda hatchback smashed into a BottleMart on the corner of Oxford and Bourke streets in Leederville.
The vehicle slammed into the front door, causing windows to shatter and bricks to fall, wedging the car inside.
Firefighters, police and St John WA all attended the scene, supervising the extraction of the car onto a tow truck.
A man, woman and young boy were in the car. The man is believed to have escaped injury, while the woman and child were taken to Joondalup Health Campus for observation.
