A crash involving a car and a bus has left a man seriously injured in Perth’s south.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Rae Road and Kitson Street in Rockingham shortly after 6.40am on Wednesday.

Residents near the crash scene said the road had been closed near the Rockingham train station as emergency services responded.

St John WA has confirmed four people were injured in the collision.

A male driver in his 60s with serious injuries was raced to Royal Perth Hospital under lights and sirens.

Two men in their 40s were transported to Rockingham Hospital under standard road conditions.

A woman also received treatment for minor injuries at the scene.
