In an attempt to enforce its strict winter uniform standards, Trinity College has dressed up the message in a language its students can understand.
With the cooler months ahead, the all-boys private school in East Perth crafted a catchy dance video depicting high school kids grooving and strutting in the blazers they are expected to wear during winter.
Jumping on a recent online trend, the clip was soundtracked by The Chemical Brothers’ 2015 hit Go, which featured in an unhinged dance scene from Netflix’s adventure thriller Apex.
The school posted the video to social media on Monday.
“FRITZ BLAZER BLITZ,” the caption read.
“Blazers on, ties tightened and shirts tucked in. The winter uniform is back in full force.
“A reminder that students are expected to wear their blazer to and from school and to PCG as part of our College uniform standards. Safe to say these students understood the assignment.”
The clip began with the message, “Blazers are back ... and more in style than ever ”, with one flexible student doing the splits while wearing their full winter kit.
It finished with a swift display of mogging (attempt to physically impose one’s attractiveness in Gen Z speak) before the teens walked arm-in-arm, seemingly bonding over their shared love for the uniform.
Trinity’s tailored approach to enforcing uniforms resonated in the comments, with Suit Vault labelling the look “elite”.
“That first guy is absolutely eating omg,” oner person said, with another glowingly referring to the student models as “divas”.
