Oz Lotto: WA on a roll with another division one winner as Tuesday’s draw gifts punter a $7.5m windfall
A WA punter has had their life changed after winning a massive sum from Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw.
They are one of two winners that claimed the division one prize, taking home a huge $7.5 million each.
One of those golden tickets was bought from Queens Supa IGA in Geraldton.
The winning numbers from draw #1648 were 20, 35, 31, 3, 42, 37, 7. The supplementary numbers were 33, 30, 18.
Luck out west fell short in division two, with all four winners of the $74,375.25 prize coming from over east.
Although eight sandgropers picked up a handy $4816.35 with the division three prize.
West Aussies have had extraordinary luck in the Lotto this year, with Tuesday’s draw bringing the State up to 58 division one winners in 2025.
“We can’t wait to meet the owner of this $7.5 million OZ Lotto division one prize and welcome them into Lotterywest’s Winners’ Room,” Lotterywest spokesperson Sarah Dawson said.
“The good news continues with more than $2.1 million contributing towards Lotterywest’s grants program, thanks to this three-week OZ Lotto jackpot run.”
This win follows a $2m windfall in the regions, as a ticket bought at Harvey Newsagency in the State’s South West proved to be an important one from Saturday’s Lotto draw.
Harvey Newsagency manager Nayan Patel described the atmosphere at the store as buzzing.
“Lots of customers have been coming into the store this morning congratulating us and sharing the excitement, even in the rain,” he said.
“We sold two division two Saturday Lotto prizes in the last two months, it’s brilliant to finally sell a division one winning ticket.”
