Tara Blee, Carla Ward and Savannah Ashworth worked tirelessly throughout the contest.

With scoring so difficult an arm-wrestle ensued for dominance.

Despite the loss, the girls will play a preliminary final in Bunbury against South Bunbury on Saturday.

Saturday was the final home game for the Bombers boys at Imperials Oval. A big crowd turned up to support the local lads, however, the opposition failed to make the journey to Manjimup.

The forfeited game ensured the Year 10 team finished the season in second position.

Coach Jimmy Craig and his young brigade of Bombers can now set their sights on a grand final, after a preliminary final against Augusta-Margaret River in Bunbury.

The Year 11-12s did get some football action on Saturday afternoon in Manjimup and did not disappoint the crowd, defeating Bunbury 14.15 (99) to 6.5 (41).

From the outset, the Bombers were willing to work hard and piece together some outstanding passages of play.

Big forwards Charlie Waideman and Jonty Barnsby provided headaches for the opposition.

Wingmen Lachy Smith and Dylan Edwards were outstanding with their run, carry and delivery into the forward line.

Zac Hall, Blake Wood and Jamaine Weazel were just a few of many players through the midfield willing to win contested possession for the home team.

The Year 11-12s finished the season undefeated.

Despite playing two less games than their opposing teams, they have finished on top of the ladder and progress directly to the grand final to be held in Bunbury on September 26.
