Royals sit on 12 points, four ahead of the Cyclones, but the lead could be cut two points if the Cyclones win next week, as the Royals are on a bye.

In Junior A grade competition, the undefeated Jetz continued their winning streak, defeating the third placed Thunders 52 to 38, allowing the second placed Scallywags to open up a four-point gap over the Thunders.
