Action in reverse

Robert DoughertyNorth West Telegraph

An old classic will take on a new twist with the annual Reverse Triathlon next month.

Competitors will race each other and the sun from 9am as they run the 3km historic track, ride 6.5km into the centre of town and finish with a 250m dip in the Marble Bar Swimming Pool on Sunday, July 29.

The distances are family-friendly and residents from surrounding towns are encouraged to take part. Act-Belong-Commit prizes and giveaways will be awarded to competitors.
