A bushfire which destroyed 8000 hectares has now been given the all clear by authorities after several days of firefighting efforts.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services issued a warning on Tuesday for people travelling along Marble Bar Road in the vicinity of Bonney Downs Station.

DFES has advised the blaze, believe to be started by a lightning strike, is now contained and under control, however, motorists are still asked to remain vigilant in case the situation changes.
