Police are investigating an alleged murder after a body was found in a wheelie bin outside a hospital in Newman this morning.

The North West Telegraph understands the body was discovered this morning in the Pilbara town and could be family violence related.

Police said they were called to the Hospital at around 4am, where the woman was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives are on their way to Newman from Perth to conduct a major investigation.
