Car crashes into health campus

Police are investigating a crash that damaged the Hedland Health Campus last night.

Around 6.30pm a man drove his Ford Ranger 4WD vehicle through the front glass doors and into the foyer of the Health Campus located on Colebatch Way in South Hedland.

No staff or patients were injured but the crash caused extensive damage to the building which is estimated to cost about $50,000.

The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 40s received minor injuries and is being assessed in hospital.
