Charges laid after incident at concert venue

Charges have been laid following an incident at the Reconciliation Week concert at Centenary Park in South Hedland.

At around 5pm, security guards informed police a 32-year-old man had been seen chasing a female with scissors through a crowd of around 100 people at the park on Saturday, June 3.

The suspect was arrested and charged with breaching protective bail conditions and going armed in public to cause fear.

He is due to face court on June 26.
