Charity event in drive to help Montana

The Miracle for Montana charity golf day is taking place this Friday, with registrations at Port Hedland Golf Club still open.

The fundraiser for Montana Ytting, who has stage 4 neuroblastoma, will include a lunch starting at noon, tee-off for the nine holes at 1pm and a dinner and silent auction from 6pm.

Clubs will be available for hire.

There will be prizes for the best-dressed team, a worst play of the day award, and a door prize.

The silent auction will open for bidding before the day.

Items include West Coast Eagles box seats for 16 people valued at $6000, two Katy Perry tickets on July 24 in Perth Arena’s Westrac Corporate Suite, and a Thermomix.

Teams of four can play for $200 or individuals can register for $50 and be put in to a team. Email montana golfday@gmail.com to register.
