Civic Centre carpark receives an upgrade

Taylar AmoniniNorth West Telegraph

The Town of Port Hedland Civic Centre carpark is set for a face lift.

During the months of May and June staff parking will be removed to make way for visitor bays, an upgrade of the accessible bays to meet current standards and an alteration of the traffic flow will occur to improve safety.

The main entry stairs and ramp of the Civic Centre will also be undergoing an upgrade, meaning the main entrance to the building will be closed during this time.

An alternative entrance at the Civic Centre Gardens side of the building will be used during the upgrades, which will be clearly marked for visitors. For more information on the upgrade, visit the Town of Port Hedland Facebook or website at porthedland.wa.gov.au.
