The Town of Port Hedland is partnering up with Hedland Youth Stakeholders Action Group to raise awareness for youth mental health at the 2017 Colour Dash on October 14 at Marie Marland Oval, South Hedland, as part of Mental Health Week.

There will be lots of different stations with coloured powder, giant obstacle courses, water pools, a spray-down, free refreshments, a DJ and guest speakers. There will also be information, resources and materials relating to mental health support at the event.

The free event is open to participants aged six to 18.

Wear old clothing which you do not mind getting “coloured up”. There will be some free white shirts available on the day. Thank you to major sponsors Fortescue, Roy Hill, Goodline and Horizon Power and supporters Coles, Centurion, RGR, Toxfree, Cervan Marine and Los Tres for making this event possible.

See the Town of Port Hedland Facebook page.
