Festive cheer is here

The festive season is starting early in Newman this year with a Christmas party at the Square this weekend.

On Friday, you can get your Christmas shopping started from 5pm at the Twilight Christmas Markets and Children’s Christmas Party.

There will be an array of market stalls to browse, delicious food as well as Christmas fairy face painters, Ms Merry Mischievous with her giant Christmas bubbles, Christmas carol singing and free presents to keep the kids entertained all night long.

From 7.30pm, you can rent a beanbag and buy some popcorn for a special screening of Arthur Christmas.

This Sunday, join Santa and his red fire truck to watch as the Newman Christmas tree lights are turned on at the Shire of East Pilbara offices from 6pm.
