From crime family to comedy gold: Nikki Justice brings One-And-A-Half Weddings And A Funeral to the Pilbara

Growing up in a crime family, joining the circus and marrying a bikie are just some of the tales Pilbara audiences can expect to hear during Nikki Justice’s comedy show.

Justice is bringing her award-winning show One-And-A-Half Weddings And A Funeral to the region this month, promising a rollercoaster of outrageous stories, unfiltered honesty and plenty of dark humour.

With a Fringe World award under her belt for WA’s best comedy show in 2025, and a growing fanbase thanks to regular appearances on the OG Crew YouTube channel (which boasts over one million subscribers), Justice is rapidly carving a name for herself as one of Australia’s most refreshingly raw comedic voices.

Speaking to Pilbara News, Justice described the show as her “origin story”.

“When I tell people stories about my life, I usually hear the line, ‘you should write a book’,” she said.

Her material mines the chaos of her childhood — raised by a drug-dealing father and a “spicy worker” mother who also insisted the family attend church every Sunday.

“We also ran away with a circus for about a year. Then I became an adult, and the adventures didn’t . . . well . . . the unconventional side didn’t really stop,” she said.

This isn’t her first brush with the Pilbara — Justice previously worked in the region in construction, and said she’s thrilled to return, this time with a mic in hand.

Her Pilbara tour kicks off in Port Hedland on September 11, followed by shows in Karratha on September 12, Newman on September 13, and Tom Price on September 14, with an additional performance in Paraburdoo scheduled for September 14.
