Glowing good fun for all
Hedland families donned glow paint, masks and Halloween costumes as they prepared for the “glowtastic” Monadelphous Halloween Fun Run on Saturday.
About 1000 people attended the event, which kicked off with the Jungle Body Crew and a DJ warming up the crowd before the neon runners took to the 2km course.
Participants walked and ran through the challenges including a laser tunnel, skylight road of coloured balls and, at the finish line, a foam zone.
Other highlights of the night included fairy floss and a food stall, run by the Port Hedland Volunteer Fire Brigade
Event organiser Maria Hermann said the event was a huge success and a great opportunity to bring the community together.
“We would especially like to thank our major sponsors, Monadelphous and Atlas, along with help to set up from volunteers, including Damian Webb from the South Hedland police for their massive help,” she said.
