The Shire of East Pilbara has set out a big range of Harmony Week activities this month.

Two key events will include a screening of Contact on March 16, a film about Australia’s Martu people, and a Long Table of Harmony dinner featuring culinary delights from 12 cultures.

An exciting line-up of entertainment is also planned including SambOzzy percussion and dance group, Fremantle band East Winds, the Newman Dance Company and children’s games, a bouncy castle and face painting.

Contact will screen at The Square in Newman and a free community sausage sizzle will begin at 5pm before the screening at 6pm, while the Long Table Harmony will be $3 a plate and begin at 6pm at the East Pilbara Arts Centre.
