Hedland man charged with driving in excess

A 19 year old male will face court after being involved in a vehicle crash in the early hours of this morning.

According to South Hedland police, the probationary driver crashed into parked vehicles on Downing Street in Pretty Pool.

Police said the driver has been charged with driving with excess 0.02% being a novice driver after allegedly being over the prescribed alcohol limit.

The male was taken to Hedland health Campus for observation following the crash.
