It was an eventful week for round 11 of the North Pilbara Football League as bodies were as thrashed as much as the scoreboard.

The weekend started off with Dampier Sharks giving Karratha Falcons’ a run for their money, proving they’re the ever rising team for the season.

Despite a half time lead, Falcons had a crash landing loss 6.6 (42) to Sharks 8.20 (68).

Saturday saw the game end early as Wickham Wolves bit at Port Hedland Rovers tails to the point of injury with a 63 point win.

Karratha Kats clung onto second place on the ladder after getting an important win under their belts, beating South Hedland Swans 13.19 (97) to 8.5 (53).
