Lynx edge out Illusions

Action began to heat up on the Faye Gladstone Netball Courts when round 2 of the Port Hedland Netball season took place on Tuesday.
In the A-grade competition, Lynx and Illusions went head-to-head in a bid to redeem themselves from their respective round 1 losses.
After an even contest between the two teams, it was Lynx who held on to edge out Illusions 24-20.
Elsewhere, momentum worked in the favour of Dragons, who managed a second consecutive win, this time over the Eagles 33-23.
In B-grade there were two teams who managed to score in the high 40s.
The lower grade Dragons team beat Lynx Wildcasts 48-31 and the Spectres dominated Illusions 46-13.
Eagles and Lynx Junglecats played a more equal game which concluded in an Eagles victory 33-21.
The C-grade saw two comfortable wins by Lynx and Dragons against Eagles Black and Illusions Swifts respectively. Eagles Yellow edged out and Illusions Vixens 25-24.
In 17-and-under, Specters scored 40 points against Dragons’ 33 and the Eagles had a 35-16 victory over Lynx.
In 13-and-under, the Lynx and Spectres teams took home the wins.
