Man on drug charge

A South Hedland man has been charged with possessing drugs after allegedly being found with methylamphetamine.

Police allege the drug was found in the driver’s wallet during a routine vehicle stop in South Hedland.

Police dog Maygar later searched the man’s four-wheel-drive but no further items were found.

The driver will face South Hedland Magistrate’s Court later this month.
