The North West Festival’s 2018 line-up has been announced, with Bliss n Eso and Sheppard being the two big acts coming to Port Hedland to play at the Civic Centre Gardens on August 25 and 26.

Bliss n Eso are an Australian hip-hop trio who have released six studio albums which includes three number one debuts on the ARIA Charts.

Their latest album ‘Off the Grid’ was released in 2017 and included the hit song ‘Moments (featuring Gavin James)’ which won the 2017 ARIA Award for Best Video.

Sheppard is an Australian indie pop band formed in 2009, whose debut studio album, Bombs Away, peaked at number two on the ARIA Albums Chart in 2014.

Their second single, Geronimo, spent three weeks at number one on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified five times platinum.

Hands Like Houses and Abbe May will also be performing alongside local artists.

Port Hedland Mayor Camilo Blanco said that with the support of major event partner BHP they are excited to be bringing the event back for another year.

“North West Festival is one of the biggest events in the Pilbara region, and we are ecstatic to be once again able to deliver a weekend that all members of our community can enjoy,” he said.

Saturday, August 25 will be an 18 years plus event, whilst the family friendly North West Sundowner, presented by FMG, will take place on Sunday, June 26.

Tickets go on sale on June 19 with the Saturday night adults only concert costing $50.

The Sunday Sundowner will vary in price from $15 for children aged 13-17 and $30 for adults.
