Pilbara’s star police dog flown to Perth vets
Maygar the police dog has been flown to vets in Perth for surgery.
It is not yet known fully what his injuries are, but it is understood he received them in a training exercise.
As of now the Pilbara police dog has been released from vet care.
It is possible he could be retired, depending on his recovery and rehabilition process.
Police Media are handling the situation as a “sensitive matter” and say they are unable to get a hold of Maygar’s handler Constable Tom Gryta as of now.
