Snap Send Solve problems
The ability to report issues and provide feedback on local infrastructure is now a click away as the Town of Port Hedland brings in a new reporting app for smartphones.
The free Snap Send Solve app allows residents to photograph and report common issues in and around the Town easily, including litter, general hazards, hard waste, parking problems, street cleaning, graffiti and noise.
The app also allows residents to send general and positive feedback to the Town to help improve services and infrastructure.
According to a Town spokes-woman, all reports are sent from the app using the sender’s email address so the Town can communicate directly with them to fix the issue and follow up on feedback.
“Once the report has been logged within our records system, the report will be sent to the responsible officer based on the nature of the report,” she said.
However, people could opt to stay anonymous in their reporting, the spokeswoman said.
“Members of the public can report issues without including their details,” she said.
The app can be downloaded for both Apple and Android devices.
