The Port Hedland Courthouse Gallery’s Art After Dark returns tomorrow night with artist Melissa North.

Guests are invited to the free event which will see North complete an aerial painting tying in with the theme of the gallery’s newest main exhibition, Flight: Aboriginal Perspectives from the Sky.

The finished piece will be auctioned off to guests at the end of the night.

North is a Port Hedland-based artist whose vibrant paintings capture the beauty of the Pilbara landscape.

Guests can also enjoy wine, cheese, the gallery space and an after dark viewing of the A Year in the Making and Flight: Aboriginal Perspectives from the Sky exhibitions.

The over-18 event is open to anyone and everyone no matter what their interest in art is — it is a fun and creative night out for all.

The Courthouse Gallery’s Art After Dark is an annual event that allows community members to be a part of the gallery family.
