Town of Port Hedland, Altura Mining, Pilbara Minerals and Qube Logistics staff have unveiled a massive upgrade to the Pilbara lithium industry.

ToPH Mayor Camilo Blanco, QL director Todd Emmert and Main Roads’ Andrew Pike cut the ribbon for a $10 million facility in Wedgefield late last month on July 19.

Lithium product can now be transported to the newly opened 6000sqm product storage facility in Hedland, which was completed in around five months.

Mr Emmert said the facility, the first of two identical sheds, was an asset to operations in the area and carefully managed associated dust with an internal drop-off area for around 56,000 tonnes.
