Threatened species focus
Care For Hedland Environmental Association is giving environmental enthusiasts the opportunity to be a part of conserving the State’s natural environment.
The association is giving two of their members the opportunity to attend the highly anticipated WA Threatened Species Forum in Geraldton next month.
The annual forum is set to discuss existing strategies for threatened species throughout Western Australia as well as solutions for protecting the State’s native flora and fauna.
The winners will join the State Natural Resource Management body, seven regional Natural Resource Management groups and countless environmental enthusiasts.
The prize includes return flights from Port Hedland to Geraldton, airport transfers, accommodation and tickets for both days of the conference.
To enter, applicants must be members of the environmental association and send a 150-word statement explaining why they would like to attend the forum and describe their passion for the environment and wildlife.
Entries close Monday, August 21, and can be sent to coordinator @careforhedland.org.au.
