Debts worth $7,606.35 are likely to be written off by the Town of Port Hedland.

Councillors will decide whether to write off the debts at their meeting after Town officers said they were “unrecoverable or the cost to pursue further would outweigh the debt owed”.

Details of who owes the money are not available as they have been kept confidential. Councillors have been advised to write off the debts before the end of the financial year.
