Truckie faces death crash case
A road train driver has appeared in South Hedland Magistrate’s Court in relation to the death of two travellers in June this year.
Kimberly Thomas De Pledge, 47, was charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing death and three counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm in June after he allegedly hit the back of a caravan, forcing it onto the wrong side of the road and into the path of an oncoming Toyota Prado.
Mr De Pledge appeared in court today, and did not enter a plea, but will face the magistrate again on January 15. His bail was also extended until January.
The case will be held in the District Court once a plea is entered.
