Whitepointers second half blitz secures win over Dragons in Hedland Water Polo Association round four

Round four of the Hedland Water Polo Association saw a second half blitz by the Whitepointers powered the side to victory over Dragons.

Whitepointers and Dragons both had their moments in the first half at the South Hedland Aquatic Centre on November 11 with both tied at three points at half time.

A five goal second half from Whitepointers stunned the Dragons with Whitepointers winning 85.

Thomas Daney top scored for Whitepointers with three goals while Nathan Grouch scored three goals for Dragons.

The second game of the evening saw Piranhas fight tooth and claw to dominate Aztecs with a four point victory.

Piranhas were too strong across the game with Bethany Denny dominated the game with a massive six goals to help Piranhas win 7-3.

Game three saw Whitepointers pull double duty this round and take out the powerful Blackstars.

Blackstars lived up to their reputation, dominating the contest to destroy the tired Whitepointers by nine points.

Daniel Lacey showed no mercy as he drove home five goals with support from Matthew Gregs and Bodhi Gregswho both scored two goals each.

In the end Blackstars defeated Whitepointers 11-2.

The final game of the round was a clash between Orcas and Vipers.

Orcas controlled them pool, scoring at will to defeat their opponents 8-3
