Workshops for creative at heart

Sophia ConstantineNorth West Telegraph

Renowned animator and artist Steve Aiton will facilitate two sand animation workshops at the Port Hedland Courthouse Gallery this week.

Old and young creatives are being called on to register for the workshops to learn the tricks of the trade from Aiton, who will share the necessary techniques and skills to make a short animated film.

Aiton began his career with AWESOME Arts Australia after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Art, and has run many professional development workshops.

His projects have included the Western Desert Kidney Health Project, which was nominated for a Deadly Award in 2011.
