Bushfire relief efforts across Karratha are showing no signs of slowing down as more local businesses continue to help out those devastated by fires in the Eastern States.

Karratha Repco hosted a fundraiser breakfast last Friday morning when they raised more than $1300 for the Red Cross.

Repco Karratha store manager Ray Bryan said the community was extremely supportive of the cause.

“We sold 180 bacon and egg rolls,” he said.

“Obviously a lot of bad things have happened over there so we wanted to show our support from this end and try and do something different, so we did a drive through breakfast for two hours.”

The fundraising efforts came after Repco Karratha had raised nearly $90,000 for charity in the last two years through car washes and barbecues.

Mr Bryan thanked sponsors Pilbara Distributors, North West Mechanical Solutions and Woolworths for assisting with the barbecue.

The money will go towards helping those affected by bushfires that have ravaged communities since the end of last year.
