It was Groundhog Day at the Karratha Golf Club for the second 18-hole Saturday competition in a row, with the back nine closed under construction for the grassing of the greens.

Players experienced a sense of deja vu as they played the front nine twice in one day.

Ideal golfing conditions all weekend with little to no wind and low temperatures, so it was not surprising to see some great results.

Despite not winning the day on Saturday, low handicapper Michael Heap broke records, scoring an Eagle on the 4th hole, knocking it in for two on a par four.
