The Wickham Wolves are through to the second week of the North Pilbara Football League finals season after delivering a crushing 90 point victory against Port Hedland Rovers. The semi final kicked off at Wickham Oval on Saturday with Wolves kicking the first four goals of the game to run out with a 27 point lead at the end of the first term. Rovers got on the board in the second quarter but it did little to stem the Wolves run, with the home side stretching their lead to 33 points at the main break. It was all Wolves in the third term, booting 5.4 to the Rovers 1.0 to take a game high lead of 61 points with just one quarter left. Wolves continued to bring the pain in the last 25 minutes, brutalising the Rovers with a five goal term to advance into the preliminary final with ease. The final score saw Wickham Wolves defeat Port Hedland Rovers 16.16 (112) to 3.4 (22). Wickham will now play Karratha Kats on Saturday to advance to the grand final.
