Bloody Slow week goes far too fast

Festivities were held throughout Newman at the weekend for the annual Bloody Slow Cup in honour of four officers who lost their lives in 2001.

The weekend’s events included a Legacy Gold Day which teed off on Friday morning before the Australians took on the New Zealanders in netball and cricket.

Saturday night was all about the rugby though, as the Australian’s secured the Bloody Slow Cup for the second year in a row beating New Zealand 16-15.
