Dampiers’ Zac Langdon returned to the West Coast Eagles side in Derby loss

Dampier’s Zac Langdon had a strong first quarter against Fremantle Dockers in his return to the Eagles side after missing their round two clash. Langdon was one of 12 changes to the depleted Eagles and brought his trademark pressure into the round three game at Optus Stadium on April 3. The medium forward had a strong first quarter but struggled for impact in the rest of the game as Dockers picked apart the Eagles to run away with the victory 15.12 (102) to 7.5 (42). Langdon had spent 90 per cent of the game on the field with eight disposals, two marks and one goal assist. The former Dampier Shark managed 12 disposals and a goal in the Eagles’ 27-point loss to the Gold Coast in round one. The 26-year-old debuted for West Coast in round one last year after spending three seasons at Greater Western Sydney, where he played 31 games. Langdon was traded to the Eagles at the end of the Giants’ 2020 campaign and played 17 matches last year.
