Kats, Wolves and Sharks take round three wins
Round three of the North Pilbara Football League saw some hard balls and close games last weekend.
It was a nail-biter game for ladder toppers Karratha Kats and South Hedland Swans, with only five points difference by the final siren.
The Kats now stand undefeated at this point in the season, with three wins on the board.
Port Hedland Rovers however, fell short of a win despite a strong second half losing 9.6(54) to Wickham Wolves 14.13(97).
Karratha Falcons unfortunately fell below Rovers this week as the new bottom rung team after another unfortunate week losing to Dampier sharks 10.12(72) to 4.3(27).
The League ladder now sits with Karratha Kats on top, followed closely by South Hedland Swans, Dampier Sharks and Wickham Wolves.
Port Hedland Rovers are finally off the bottom being replaced by Karratha Falcons.
This Friday will see the Dampier Sharks prove their reputation as a side not to be underestimated, taking on Karratha Kats at Windy Ridge.
Saturday will see South Hedland Swans travel again, battling it out in Wickham against the Wolves while another home game will see Karratha Falcons fly into Port Hedland to take on the Rovers.
